太空人可以從太空站上網　與地球聯繫

美國太空人在（國際太空站）工作，還惦記地球上的事，想透過網路跟地面聯繫，現在他們夢想成真。

過去在（國際太空站）工作的太空人，和地球沒有網路連接，如果想給地球發email,　只能發傳真給美國西雅圖控制台，由那裡工作人員把傳真上的內容，放在網路上。經過美國科學家努力，現在（國際太空站）的太空人，可以直接發 email，也可以在微型網誌（推特）上發表言論，跟網友分享自己心情。

(Newser) – The space station gained live internet access for the first time this morning, prompting one astronaut to send a historic message: “Hello Twitterverse! We r now LIVE tweeting from the International Space Station -- the 1st live tweet from Space! :) More soon, send your ?s” Okay, Neil Armstrong he ain’t, but NASA rigged up the system mostly for fun anyway, and to help astronauts stay connected.

“It’s mostly for personal use,” a NASA spokesman tells Space.com. Astronaut TJ Creamer, who sent that landmark tweet, set up the system in his free time, working with earthbound engineers. The space station’s laptop doesn’t enjoy direct access to the net; instead, it uses an antenna to take control of a broadband-connected computer on earth. Expect regular Twitter updates from Creamer and two other astronauts (@Astro_Jeff and @Astro_Soichi).
