當HD4870X2碰上NFSUC
 

CPU: E8600 @ 4.3GHz
VGA: HD4870X2 @ 780/900 (Catalyst 8.11)
RAM: 1GB aXeRam 1200+ x4
MB: ASUS P5E
OS: Windows VISTA 32-bit

目前ATI驅動程式尚未針對NFSUC作CrossFire支援
所以HD4870X2也只利用到單GPU在跑而已=.=
不過玩起來依然很順暢，完全沒有絲毫的停頓感覺

1680x1050、特效全開、4xAA、16xAF

這遊戲一定要4870才能很順嗎?

actualy the catalyst has a profile for nfs.exe (which was the name for an old need for speed game exe)

in this profile crossfire is disabled (so it is why it is very slow on 3870X2)

if you rename the exe like i did by need for speed undercover.exe, there will be no more profile so crossfire will fully work again (tryed it with gpu-z the second card went from 0% activity to 99% activity)

(btw i play on vista 64, but must be same thing on XP)

i actualy saw a other problem, when fraps is running, each of my cards only go to 50% of activity, so game is running mostly same speed as if i had only 1 card, i saw same problem when you change resolution, anti-aliasing and so

to get ride of it i just set the config i want, then i restart the game, and miracle both card are used at 99% and game runs fine


不過自己還沒嘗試是否有效

視窗化呢...
因為我發現ATi視窗化..
FPS好像都會砍對半....
不知道這個BUG修正了沒有...

我玩遊戲習慣視窗化..
因為不只開一款遊戲.... :ase

我猜要看哪款顯示卡 :D

以前小弟使用X1950pro的時候，一開始也是會這樣，後來不知道第幾版catalyst就修正這個問題了
在那之後X1950pro不管在全螢幕或是視窗之下的fps都一樣了

不過現在改用4870x2，視窗化會導致crossfire不能開啟，還有gpu頻率仍然維持2D時候的頻率，這情況一直到8.11都沒有任何改善

VISTA X86的Cat 8.11已經改正這問題了
不過XP的還是依然維持2D頻率

遊戲是完美世界Online

改了執行檔檔名
雖然兩個GPU都有利用到了
但是fps卻暴跌
同一個場景，每秒張數從74跌到53
