新的Beta Driver (2.18.6版)又推出了, 生成日期為2008/09/26
看來創新最近有改過向善的趨勢....請大家可透過下方連結下載:

This download is a beta driver providing Microsoft® Windows Vista® and Windows® XP support for Creative Sound Blaster® X-Fi™ series of audio devices. For more details, read the rest of this web release note.

Take note of the following:

THIS IS AN UNSUPPORTED BETA DRIVER. There is no technical support for this driver.
We recommend that only experienced users install this driver. Do not install this driver on a system used to perform critical tasks.
Users who are looking for stable drivers should wait for the final release. When this happens, user should install the latest Sound Blaster X-Fi series driver available.
This download supports the following audio devices only:

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty® Professional Series
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty Champion Series
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Pro
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi
Added Features or Enhancements:

Supports Dolby® Digital Live

To get the above mentioned features you will need to purchase the Dolby Digital Live and DTS Connect software pack.

To find out the Product ID of your audio device and if it supports the following features in Windows XP, click here.

Dolby Digital and DTS decode re-established for sound cards that included decoding in their Windows XP drivers (Not applicable for products that included a 3rd party software DVD player license in the package).
DVD-Audio playback re-established for sound cards that included the application in their Windows XP software suite (For Windows Vista 32-bit only).
Requires the latest Creative MediaSource DVD-Audio Player software. Click here to download.
Fixes:

Resolves issue of audio popping when playing AC-3 Wave files or using Dolby Digital Live via the digital output on Windows Vista.
Resolves Audio Control Panel issue of incorrect X-Fi CMSS®-3D behavior while using Audio Creation Mode.

Windows Vista 64-bit, Windows Vista 32-bit, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), Windows XP Media Center Edition (MCE) 2005 or Windows XP MCE 2004

Notes:

Do not install this driver for Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio.
To install this driver
Download the file onto your local hard disk.
Double-click the downloaded file.
Follow the instructions on the screen.

裝完後聽起來好像音質有變好一點, 細節多一點, 音場也更立體一點.....
希望別是我個人的錯覺......

這版居然增加了之前要收費的DDL跟DTS Connect :shock:
希望沒看錯 :)

為了獲得上述提及的功能，你必須購買DDL與DTS Connect軟體包。
一樣要收費的。

看到這篇之後
我跑去刷卡買了...
美金4.72元
感覺還不會太貴
大約台幣150元...
所以就買了
使用後的效果還蠻滿意的...
音樂、影片通通變成DD5.1輸出了＠＠
還沒測試遊戲...
我用的卡是DELL OME的X-FI Music
有刷過白金版韌體了
使用上沒什麼太大的問題

不過有一個小問題就是
我本來控制台是設定光纖輸出到Z5400解DD5.1跟DTS
不過開了DD LIVE之後DTS會不能輸出音效...
要改回喇叭輸出...這樣DTS的影片才能播放
不過會變成輸出成DD 5.1
要聽DTS的話要關閉DD Live...才能
播放器是用KMP
原本輸出也是設成SPDIF OUT
也要改成5聲道輸出才能輸出DTS的影片
不過他也是會轉成DD 5.1

簡單的說如果要聽DTS影片不想讓他在轉成DD 5.1輸出的話
就必須關閉DD Live的功能
控制台以及KMP的輸出要改回SPDIF OUT...

我是丟給Z5400解碼的所以是這樣設定
X-FI內建的解碼器我弄不出來...
播出來都沒聲音Orz
要不然可能可以DD和DTS都可以上正常輸出
而不會發生DTS又轉成DD 5.1輸出了

或著可能又少買了「DTS Connect」這個東西-口-|
再官方網站還沒有看到...只有看到DD Live的軟體售價4.72美元

寫的有點連我自己也有點看不太懂了...

再稍微提一下
音樂跟遊戲的DD Live要開EAX
後置喇叭才會有聲音
不過感覺好像只是投射前置喇叭的聲音
不知道要怎麼設定...

不過影片的話就沒問題了
雙聲道的影片會變成5聲道

後來想到之前有看到DD Live的文章之後

把這篇挖出來看了一下

果然有些地方記錯了
遊戲要用支援5.1輸出的遊戲
才能用DD Live數位輸出成DD 5.1給解碼器解碼
我剛剛是隨便開一個線上遊戲測XD
懶得裝支援5.1聲道輸出的遊戲測試了

至於音樂的話我是用F2K這個播放程式
所以跑去hydrogenaudio.org 找了一下插件
看到了可以將雙聲道轉成5.1的插件
就抓下來用了...
測試之後...可以正常輸出5.1環繞音效的DD5.1音樂了
需要的插件分別是foo_dsp_fsurround.dll跟libfftw3f-3.dll
foo_dsp_fsurround.dll放置於foobar2000\components
libfftw3f-3.dll放置於foobar2000主目錄就可以了
需要的插件我丟到SkyDrive需要的人請自便...
