徵求以英文交談的網友
 

一位認識一段時間的網友，計畫到國外留學，想找人以網路交談並用線上通話方式練習英文會話。

但他好像沒裝 MSN ~~ :rolleyes:

小弟英文不好...從國中學英文來一貫如此
想請問你說的"I was trying to add him "這個文法
因為小弟只會現在進行式...但不知道有過去進行式(好像還有未來進行式)
在許慧欣的愛情抗體裡有一句是"I'll be leaving you"就是未來加進行式
讓我搞不清楚....麻煩kArma指點....
在什麼情況下可以使用過去進行式跟未來進行式....
如果以中文來說並沒有這個文法...所以我一直搞不懂....謝謝啦!!!

first i have to say (that) my english is not perfect in any ways... so if there is something wrong.. please correct me..

i think the most difficult part in learning english for chinese speakers is the tense... in english.. tense is very very important and sometimes very confusing too..

as the example, "i was trying to add him" in grammer, it is correct.. means he "was" trying... in a way give people a feeling that he not only tired but tried many times in the past... if you said.. " i tried to add him" kind of hint that you tried ( maybe only once) and fail to do so...

also.. the difference between "i am going to" and " i will " in some case, both are the same... but "i am going to" give people a feeling that you will do it very soon or in other word, you will do it as soon as possible... however, "i will" usually give people a feeling that you will do it sometime in the future.... maybe in 5 years time... here is an example.. if you say... i am going to buy a computer... usually means you will get a computer very soon.. on the other hand, if you said you will get a computer.. there is no time flame.. you just state that you might get a computer in the future...

correct me if i made some mistakes, please.

我認為是要去用英文的想法去想
而不是先用中文想
然後再去翻譯
這樣英文會好很多

並且先不要把文法看得太重要
畢竟語言是拿來溝通用的
先把你想表達出來的意思表達出來後
再去要求文法正確會比較好

"Past continuous tense" Antus兄 已替我解釋啦 .... 我想應該很清楚...
which means i dont have to type lots of words, since my chinese
input is so slow :D :D :D

而 "The future continuous tense"
是指 "在未來某一個時段將要持續進行的動作"


此外,我覺得 Ming兄說的也是很有道理....
美國人在口語上,是比較不著重文法的,只要可以表達正確的想法,就行了
這也意味著 Ming兄說的 "語言是拿來溝通用的"
(當然,如果有文法的誤用,可能就會影響到你想表達的意思)

通常在文章上的用字才比較著重文法 .....

沒錯!
個人看法是:
如果口語英文,
力求簡潔易懂即可,
若是書面英文用語,
則遣詞用字可能需要錙銖必較.

至於聽英文歌曲學英文??
我個人認為拿來訓練聽力還不錯,
文法??

我怎麼覺得：

I am going to do sth: 是我已經計畫好要作某事，已確定何時作。
而 I will do sth: ？是我將作某事，但並沒有確定何時會作。

Chating最好不要用太難的文法，時態也僅量用簡單一點，如現在式，過去式，如果還不行，頂多再家現在完成式，然後再輔助一些說明，畢竟在會話的過程當中，很多東西是無法考慮太多的，因為英文非我們母語，如果要流暢的對談，一定要作到能清楚的表達您的意見。

如 I tried to add him to my MSN friend-list many times. 是很容易理解也很容易在第一時間想到，而且可以清楚的表達；如果您要說 I was trying to add him ...等，就必需再帶出Time Interval句子才完整。
