Windows Vista SP1 RC釋出

不知道有沒有lag到，剛剛去微軟下載中心看到的，
Vista SP1 RC standalone 多語言版，於2007年12月14日張貼。

不知道後面會不會來個RC2、RC3，
要是已經等不及SP1正式版的Vista使用者，可以搶先當白老鼠 :D

很久以前的消息了

要注意的是
這個 SP1 是評估版
所以有一些正版才能有的服務會停止運作 (例如:Windows Update)
同時，在桌面上也會出現一行無法消除的評估版字樣
還有部份已安裝的軟體會產生無法維護/移除的問題

等正式的 SP1 上線
你得先把評估版移除，才有辦法再裝

這個評估版只是正式 SP1 的一半而已
可能改進了某些平時不會用到的東西
其實裝了沒有什麼特別的感覺
建議是可以不要裝

RC1 ?? 太早了......等有空的先烈去試試 :stupefy:

等官方正式公佈版本後兩週+各大站沒有災情傳出再考慮. :flash:

我安裝了，感覺上效能增加了不少，直到現在也沒有發現副作用。

不知有誰已經安裝了 SP1 RC 可以說一下當傳輸大容量檔案(超過3GB)時的傳輸速度？

vista 的檔案傳輸速度在碰上 GB 級的檔案時真的會被拖慢，而又不想用外面說的以軟體方式來改善(其實就是安裝它們所介紹的軟體來改善速度。關鍵字：TeraCopy)。每次要般檔案都要等到沒事時才想去動

Uninstall Instructions for Windows Vista SP1 RC:
Windows Vista SP1 RC does not support build-to-build upgrades. If you install this build to your system, you need to uninstall it before moving to the final Vista SP1 RTM version.

Prerequisite packages (KB935509, KB937287 and KB938371) for Window Vista SP1 are permanent and uninstall of these packages is disabled by design. During the installation of Windows Vista SP1 RC, the installer determines whether or not you need the prerequisite packages and updates your system automatically.

To uninstall Windows Vista SP1 RC use the following steps:
1.Click on the Start Menu and go to Control Panel
2.Double click on Programs and Features
3.On the left side menu, select View Installed Updates
4.Under the list of Microsoft Windows, select Service Pack for Windows (KB936330)
5.On the top menu, click on Uninstall

我只看得懂他說不支援直接升級到SP1 RTM版，
所以若日後想安裝RTM，必須先將RC移除，用上列5個步驟。

mobile01 裡面也提到 vista SP1 將會改善檔案傳輸速度的問題。我想應該就是之前曾經討論過「KB931770」

這檔案後來我找到，試著安裝，並以 6GB 的檔案測試。在 FW400 的介面，檔案複製的時間大概合乎我的估計，不過是窗顯示的傳輸速度仍舊很慢就是了：1XMB/s (其實我覺得他有變快。以前真的是 10MB/s，更新後我覺得實際上速度可能在 35 ~ 40MB/s)
