編譯陳世欽／路透美國羅斯福號航艦二十八日電 冷戰時期專門對付前蘇聯轟炸機的美國海軍F14雄貓式戰機，廿八日從航空母艦戰鬥群執行最後一次出勤任務，為長達卅二年的服役史畫下句點。 雄貓戰機因為電影「捍衛戰士」而出名，除役使美國海軍得以引進新式戰機。贊成者認為，新式戰機能以更負擔得起的經費完成後冷戰時代的任務要求。然而對雄貓飛行員與戰機迷而言，雄貓戰機除役不只象徵一個飛行時代的結束，也象徵美國的軍備新趨勢是重視節省經費甚於性能。 雄貓戰機預定九月全部除役。美國海軍已經開始引進波音公司建造的F／A18超級大黃蜂式戰鬥機，並計畫之後再引進洛克希德馬丁公司領銜建造的Ｆ卅五聯合攻擊戰機。 美國海軍最後一支雄貓飛行中隊中隊長賀威說：「雄貓戰機是具備現代殺傷力的冷戰象徵。」今年稍早駕駛雄貓戰機在伊拉克投下最後一枚炸彈的霍里根上尉表示，雄貓戰機的性能非常卓越，然而「時代與經費已經不同以往」。 美國航空母艦羅斯福號的隨艦戰機飛行員、機械師，以及戰機業專家亦有同感。水鴨航太暨防衛諮詢集團分析師艾柏拉菲亞表示：「竭盡全力打造最優越軍備的時代即將落幕，現在是在財力可及情況下建軍的時代。F14除役是最好的證明。」 許多海軍人員與專家認為，美國海軍已經不再需要雄貓戰機。專家指出，儘管許多海軍人員私下責怪華府當局，然而在戰爭面貌不斷改變的環境下，美國政府可能繼續裁減戰機經費。 許多批評者指出，美國空軍為維持空優地位，計畫採購單價高達一億三千萬美元的新世代F22戰機。 【2006/07/30 聯合報】 ＠ http://udn.com

每次在家裡玩我以前組好的F-14模型，都會想要「變形」
當然喜歡F-14是1986年的電影「TOP GUN」，也是20年前的電影，F-14比這電影還早服役。

想起國小的生日禮物就是F-14模型當初就愛上F-14的外型一直到現在,可惜那台組好沒多久放在沙發被一顆大屁股坐爛了 :cry:
