上並沒有比一般電視好,是否DVD掃描縣市500條,與現
常用電視相當,平面電視雖可達1000條掃描,但英雄無
用武之地,好像聽說有MPEG4 MPEG7 8等,更進階的壓
縮格式,提高掃描線,但卻沒有確實資料,諸位可有這方面

DVD Video是MPEG2的Main Level格式，有720x576的解析度，MPEG4主要是用在網路多媒體的壓縮上，聽說最近幾個月才定案。不要對MPEG4的解析度有任何期待，因為它是設計給低位元率的網路頻寬使用，不是為高品質視訊設計的， 所以畫質並不會比MPEG2好。而MPEG7還在定義中，目標含蓋整個多媒體系統，離定案還很早。
MPEG2除了Main Level外，還有更高解析度的High1440 Level和High Level，有1152條掃瞄線，主要是給HDTV用的。你要找的應該是這個吧。
你引的原文的MPEG網站的簡介，大意是說MPEG制定多媒體標準，如MPEG-1(VCD, MP3), MPEG2(DVD), MPEG4, MPEG7等。MPEG是國際標準組織的一員，有許多成員....。
MPEG的標準是要花錢買的，想要在官方網站找到免費的規格書是不可能的，去yahoo查可能還比較容易找到資料。

平面電視你可以看看有沒有一個RGB接頭，用來輸入電腦影像的，如果他支援輸入畫面超過800*600的話就可以看到精細的畫面了..

我接觸DVD,不過半年,已經被這些什麼線啊!
