Toshiba推出5X dvd+r DL !?
 

看PCDXY雜誌說Toshiba要推出5X的dvd+r DL,可是沒有說明的很詳細,
我猜該不會是第一層是6x,而第二層是4x,所以平均起來就是5x,要不然怎麼會有這麼怪的燒錄倍數呢?有哪位大大知道嗎??

What makes this drive unique from all others on the market, is its exclusive support for 5x double layer writing. To see the write process, we ran Nero's CD-DVD Speed. The drive starts writing at 3.58x but quickly jumps to a fairly consistent 5x writing until it reaches just about the end of the disc, were it slightly drops back down. The average write speed reported was 4.84x.

Toshiba got this habit of sending MIJ samples. Retail drive should be from other countries.
