i went to Fry's yesterday.
it's a pity that there is no altec mx5021..

I buy from newegg most of the time, but they dont have the best price though.
pricewatch is only for referance, because you really can't tell the creditbility of
the store. Even if the item you wish to buy is dirt cheap, you still want to buy something
that actually works, right?
I would say Fry's is the best choice in CA. Considering both price and quality.
(since newegg is located in CA you'll have to pay both shipping and sale tax)

If you are in US, why not use Swan M200?
A great 2 chennal speaker. Better than most 2.1 speakers around.
It's about 170 at newegg.com.

Swan M200 is an active speaker, which means you can use it just like any other computer speakers.
I don't see the boardline between "Hi-Fi" or "computer" speakers. If it sounds good, then it is a good speaker.
