有關 NF7S 2.0 BIOS幾個選項
 

在下最近才開始學習如何調教電腦，所以想問有用NF7S 2.0的各位前輩，BIOS裡的FSB Spread Spectrum、AGP Spread Spectrum、CPU Thermal-Throttling、CPU Disconnect Function各位前輩都是如何設定的？還有超頻的時候CPU FSB/DRAM ratio這個選項是否設定為Auto比較好？謝謝。 :)

Spectrum 延展可以降低EMI但稍減損效能，如果你沒常常開機殼側板可以考慮關閉．CPU Disconnect Function在最新版BIOS更新之後如果有效能折損的現象，也可以考慮關閉來矯正看看．

FSB Spread Spectrum
Reduces the EMI of the FSB by modulating the signals it generates so that the spikes are reduced to flatter curves. It achieves this by varying the frequency slightly so that the signal does not use any particular frequency for more than a moment. Disable if you are doing any overclocking.

AGP Spread Spectrum
Reduces the EMI of the AGP bus by modulating the signals it generates so that the spikes are reduced to flatter curves. It achieves this by varying the frequency slightly so that the signal does not use any particular frequency for more than a moment. Disable if you are doing any overclocking.

這兩項就如樓上i兄說的用以降低EMI用的....

CPU Thermal-Throttling
Downclocks and disables certain parts of the CPU while idling to reduce power consumption and lower termperature. Unless your system idles alot or you have heat issues, disable it.
大意是說降低cpu的速度並減少電力的浪費, 獲得較低的溫度。除非你的電腦大部分都處在閒置的狀態，或是有cpu散熱問題的人，就啟用它，反之就停用它。

根據之前打電話問ABIT工程師的說法
CPU Disconnect Function在非重度超頻下開啟會比較好超
要直上3200+我遇到的狀況還是關閉比較好超
CPU Thermal-Throttling工程師不建議改預設值用到的機會很少
FSB Spread Spectrum根據之前大大們的說法是關閉
超頻會產生大量EMI/雜訊
展頻會抑制
所以會不好超/超不上去
CPU FSB/DRAM ratio可設AUTO或手動設定
建議跑同步1:1
如妳FSB要跑200以上又要同步
1.超RAM-不建議-一次超2種你會不知道是誰不穩
2.換DDR466/500---FSB可至233/250
