Club CD Freaks的Media Forum其中一個版主公布了新版的KProbe,發布在這個討論串:

轉貼一些重點:
1.bitsetting and region-freeing tools

2.You can now select whether to run KProbe2 on the ASPI driver or SPTI driver.If your system is having problems with the ASPI drivers, you now have the option to remove them completely.

3.You now set PI and PO ECC counts separately. The default is 8 and 1, which conforms to the DVD standards for 1x scanning. However, when comparing scans from KPRobe2 to scans from KProbe1, you must be aware that the PO count is different, and PO levels in KPRobe2 will be lower by a factor of 4x or more with ECC-1 counting, when compared to ECC-8 counting.

4.KProbe is now re-sizable! You can drag the window to any size that pleases you. Note that the size of your graph, when saved to an image file, will change proportionally when you change the window size. To stretch your graph and get a better look at it, just drag the window wider.

這個標題有點問題，應該說是新版的KProbe出來了
用"繼承人"好像作者不是同一個人

這個版本165H不能測試CD-R
ECC也不能設定

我晚點看完後會再整理post上來

剛剛試了一下裝上708A跟A05.A06
不能燒錄也不能測PI/PO...

用LITE-ON 正常...

正常啊，KProbe本來就是LiteOn專用的程式

不知道liteon製,掛其它牌的技嘉,捷元機能不能用?
還是連firmware也認?

但是我想我不會去用 kprobe2
他多出來的那些功能好像沒什麼用處
在說我已經用舊版的作很多測試了
用新版不知會不會有什麼差異?

反正我用來比較片子好壞已經夠了

為求比較的 一致性完整性, 都用同一軟體測試
我不會換 kprobe2

這樣說也是有道理。
