Universal is releasing a 20th Anniversary Collector's Edition of An American Werewolf in London (1981) on September 18, 2001 at a suggested retail price of $26.98.

American backpackers David Kessler (David Naughton) and Jack (Griffin Dunne) take off for a three-month European jaunt. Walking in the desolate English countryside, they come across some locals who give them chilling words of advice: "Keep to the road and keep clear of the moors" and "Beware of the moon". The boys set off into the darkness and hear a terrifying howl from across the moors, unaware that they are being stalked by a mythical beast with a taste for blood. Those who are killed by this creature become the undead, roaming the earth throughout eternity, but anyone who escapes with his life as a different fate in store...

當年看這片時才國三，對於其化妝技術佩服的五體投地，雖然現今電腦動畫技術相當厲害，可是我對於那種好萊塢傳統特效還是相當喜愛。（男主角躺在地板上便身為狼人那段相當精采，雖然後來知道男主角真正的身體是藏在地板下面....）

經由你這麼一說,倒是引起了我一點興趣了......嗯......考慮..考慮...

國三!?
西元1981年我才三歲啊.....................

不過這片可能會發生和星際大戰的喜好有著相同的原因，當年看過的會很喜歡，現在的E世代看來可能會覺得很無聊又愚蠢........

因為E世代一開始接觸西洋電影，就已經是電腦CG合成技術了，像這部「美國狼人在倫敦」以及「突變第三型（The Thing）」以當年的化妝技術而言，可算的上是數一數二的。

（當時沒有網路，都得到書局找一些介紹這些好萊塢電影的幕後化妝過程日文書刊來看，價錢又貴的要死）

嗯......這點我認為不成問題

因為我這邊也有收集不少40.50年代的老科幻片,電腦視覺特效是我的本行,但是沒有炫目效果的特效片我也不會歧視的.
連[大都會]這樣又老又土(以現在的特效眼光來看)的科幻傳世經典DVD我都買了........

聽您這樣說，那這片您絕對可以買來收藏，續集「美國狼人在巴黎」就不用考慮了，看完相當失望，枉費隔了那麼久才等到續集.....

請問一下加西莫多兄，[大都會]的英文片名是不是就是所謂的科幻片始祖，[Metropolis]?

原來如此，謝謝加西莫多兄 :) 。我覺得科幻迷最少都要給 Metropolis 一次機會，大家熟悉的科幻片裡的某些畫面，就有不少取於 Metropolis。不過就像 Obi-Wan 兄提到的一樣 :p :p ，現在的 E 世代看來可能會覺得很 ..... :o :eek: :o :eek:

美國狼人在倫敦這部片，小時後和姊姊、奶奶一起看台視播的!
那時覺得很嚇人!
