從WIM WENDERS談公路電影…
 

公路電影=WIM WENDERS??
何謂公路電影???.我自己對其下的註解為….在公路上拍的電影…呵呵…這樣夠簡單吧…又或者是大量取景於公路的電影..WHATEVER..不知從何時開始..我就莫名其妙的喜歡看這種電影…對白不需要多…在一條看似永無止境的公路…展開一段故事….公路越長…我越喜歡…長到和天空合而為一…(例如MY OWN PRIVATE IDAHO..有看過的人該知道我在說什麼…這片如後再來介紹)
WIM WENDERS 一直是我非常喜歡的德國導演…公路電影…他也許不是先驅….但是他善於將音樂及影像的結合…是我非常推崇的..(尤其是結合搖滾樂)
他的作品很多…但是有發行的…真的很少…我還一度猶豫要不要寫…不過好的作品…相信日後會陸續發行…想想還是希望介紹給大家..以他作為開題..大家來聊聊討論一下公路電影…
他的作品較廣為人知的如下:

其他的紀錄片及較為冷門的片(及早期的道路3部曲)就不列出來了..以上的作品都買得到..標出顏色的片名是我認為有符合公路主題的..日後將一一介紹不同導演的其他公路電影..如果我有看過的話…(^^)V(我會盡量努力的擠出來…)

要購買此片的人…請前進澳洲4區八…EzyDVD站上評價挺高的..我買過一次..不錯..我買BETTY BLUE寄送速度快..又便宜..不用煩惱有沒有coupon..
這片我自己收的是美版LD…畫質非常差…所以去訂了4區的了…還沒收到..所以無法報告...內容…等拿到再來報告一下…

※影片大綱:
巴黎…是德州境內的一個地名…並非大家所熟知的法國巴黎花都…是劇中男主角的父親對友人調侃他母親時的一個笑話…德州境內真有一個地名叫巴黎的
男主角..TRAVIS(Harry Dean Stanton飾演)一個婚姻破碎的失憶男子..帶著身邊僅有的郵購相片流浪於荒涼的墨西哥沙漠4年..因為缺乏水分暈倒..而意外的連絡上他失散已久的弟弟WALT華特..其弟意外之餘..前往將TRAVIS帶回自己的家中..並與睽違4年形同陌路的兒子..HUNTER見面….
TRAVIS為何會失憶???4年前到底發生了什麼事??這背後有著一段悲傷的故事..
TRAVIS回到華特家中開始正常人的生活..由不說話不吃東西無法入睡..到說話開車即再次和失散已久的兒子相處…在一天夜晚觀賞幾年前拍攝的8哩米影片..使HUNTER和TRAVIS更加親近..進而使TRAVIS及HUNTER決意尋找失散已久的妻子
JANE(Nastassja Kinski飾演)
由華特的妻子Anne口中得知每月5日JANE會在位於HUSTON的某汽車銀行定期匯錢給HUNTER
TRAVIS由此線索與HUNTER於5日前往該銀行希望藉此可以找到JANE..當JANE依每月慣例前往匯款時TRAVIS同時的跟蹤座車找到目前JANE的工作地點.. (色情窺視秀俱樂部)當第2次再次前往時他隔著玻璃..對著妻子發表漫長的獨白…這段獨白堪稱為全劇的經典…(我因為聽原聲帶聽到爛..所以獨白部分都會背了..) 在這段真情的對話中刻話了2人內心世界的衝突…最後TRAVIS將HUNTER留給JANE,自己在次踏上旅途.

ps:以下…是我的嘔心聽力之作…我將這整段獨白…完整聽寫下來..是參考電影..及原聲帶的第9首…最主要是依照原聲帶版本…(電影版有多幾句JANE的對白..原聲帶中有刪掉…)唉..如果有發行DVD…偶就不用那麼辛苦了…

偶是菜鳥，大多沒看過…
但長一智了!

TRAVIS:
I knew these people ,these two people
They were in love with each other
The girl was very young about 17 or 18 I guess
And the guy was quite a bit older, he was kind of raggedying...Wild,
And she was very beautiful you know??and together they turned everything into a kind of an adventure
And she like that,just an ordinary trip down to the grocery store was full of adventure
And they didn't much care for anything else,because all they wanted to do was be with each other
They were always together,and he…he love to her more than he ever felt possible
He couldn't standing away from her during the day when he went to work
So he quit.. just to be home with her,then he get another job when the money ran out,then he quit again
But pretty soon she started to worried …

JANE:
Ya what???

TRAVIS:
Money I guess…not having enough .. not knowing when the next check was coming in…

JANE:
Yeah!!I know that feeling

TRAVIS:
So he started to get kind of….torn inside …

JANE:
How do you mean??

TRAVIS:
well,He knew he had to work to support her,but he couldn't stand being away from her either

JANE:
Yeah!!I see

TRAVIS:
The more he was away from her the crazier he got,except now he got really crazy
He started imagining all kinds of things

JANE:
Like what??

TRAVIS:
He started thinking that she was seeing other men on the sly
He'd come home and accuse her of spending the day with somebody else
And yell her break things in the trailer ..

JANE:
In trailer??

TRAVIS:
Yes they lived in a trailer home…
Anyway he started to drink really bad,he'd stay out late to test her ..to see if she'd get jealous
He wanted her to get jealous,but she didn't,she just worry about him but that got him even madder.
Because he though if she never get jealous of him she didn't care about him ..jealousy was a sign of her love for him
And then one night ,one night ..she told him that she was pregnant,she was about 3 or 4 months pregnant
And he didn't ever know…and than suddenly everything changed, he stopped drinking he got a steady job
He was convinced she loved him now because she was carrying his child…
He was gonna to dedicated himself to making a home for her
But a funny thing started to happen ..he didn't even notice at first
She started to change,from the day the baby was born..
She began to get irritsted with everything around her.. She got mad everything.. even the baby seemed to be an injustice to her..
He kept trying to make everything all right for her
Buy her things..take her out for a dinner once a week but nothing seemed to satisfy her
For two years he struggled to hold them back together like they were in first met ..finally he knew it was never going to work out
So he hit the bottle again ,but this time it got mean…
This time when he came home late at night,she wasn't worried about him or jealous,she was just enraged
She accused him of holding her captive by making her have a baby
She told him that she dreamed about escaping..that was all she dreamed about escape, she saw herself at night..
Running naked down a highway, running across fields,running down riverbeds…
Always running and always just as she was about to get away he'd be there
He would stop her somehow..he would just appear and stop her
And when she told him these dreams he believed them
He knew she had to be stopped or she'd leave him forever…
So he tied a cowbell to her ankle so he could hear at night if she tried to get out of bed
But she learn how to muffled the bell with a sock into it and inched her way out of bed and into the night..
He call the one night the sock fell out and he heard her run to the highway
He bragged her back to the trailer and tied her to the stove with his belt..
He just lay to there back to bed..and lay there listening to her scream ,and he listen to her son of scream …
He was surprised at himself ..because he didn't feel anything anymore
All he wanted to do was sleep…and for the first time he wished he were far away
Lost in a deep vast country where nobody knew him,somewhere without language or streets…
And he dreamed about this place without knowing his name.. and when he woke up ..he was on fire
There were blue flames burning the sheets of his bed…he ran through the flames
Toward the only two people he loved…but they were gone…
His arms were burning ..he threw himself outside..and rolled on the wet ground
Then he ran ..he never looked back at the fire..he just ran…he ran until the sun came up
Then he couldn't run any further …then when the sun went down…he ran again..
For five days ran like this until every sign of man had disappeared

以上的對白就不翻譯出來…才可保留這段談話的原創性…這段對話深深的觸動著我..讓我久久不能自己..
不管看了多少次…依然震撼著我….希望大家用破英文..還是全文閱讀它…
當然最好還是去買來看…保證決不後悔(不過喜好音效動作片者..可能不適合觀看此片…)
PS:這段對話…有些是照著我聽出來得發音去解讀的..有的我聽不出來…如有不正確請見諒

在此段對話中解開了所有的答案…當你心態不夠成熟到可以處理自己的婚姻…自己的感情時….
我想多數人..會跟travis一樣….選擇逃避來面對一切….但是問題解決了嗎??傷害已造成…因過於愛對方而無法信任對方..猜忌..懷疑..忌妒…終究造成悲劇
同時卻也無法原諒自己(travis最後錄音給他的兒子hunter時..說了一句話..I'm more fraid of not facing this fear)
無法面對自己的恐懼…無法原諒自己…只好選擇再次踏上旅程….???或許..這才是最好的方式..以避免再次傷害到他最愛的人吧..
無論在親情或愛情上都造成了巨大的傷害及變化…(例其弟walt及anne…walt倒還觀念正確…雖然視hunter為己出
但是他理性的瞭解了..hunter終究不是他兒子的這個事實…他的妻子..anne就顯的不理智的多..)
wim wenders還是擅長人與人之間疏離感的影像處理…無論是何種談話方式…透過玻璃…透過錄音機…透過對講機…透過電話…從無直接的對談…再次顯現出,…wim wenders內心情感的冷漠及矛盾….
這是他第一部描寫男女情感的影片…有些人或許認為..wim wenders不擅長表現這類題材的電影…但我卻認為他的拍攝方式才是我喜歡這支片子最大的原因之一

說這部影片的配樂造就了這部影片的成功…真是不為過...至少有一半以上的功勞…得歸功於此片的配樂…RY COODER+WIM WENDERS 對我來說真是超完美的組合…最喜歡的導演加上最喜歡的樂手….

RY COODER是我最喜歡的藍調樂手之一..他涉及的音樂型態很多…藍調..名謠..爵士..鄉村樂..
近期已致力發展其世界音樂的版圖…樂士浮生錄相信大夥就知道了…古巴音樂…還有幾張夏威夷風的音樂…
當然最令人稱奇的..還是他那彈的一手好吉他…SLIDE GUITAR..粉多人都用…他也不是始祖(ROBERT JOHNSON該是始祖八)…但是彈出我喜歡的感覺..就只有他…
這張原聲帶最棒的…就簡單的說…在房間裡聽…你會覺得自己置身於沙漠中…該有的淒涼感一分也不少..完完全全的符合這支影片所要傳達的感覺…只要是WIM WENDERS 的電影…RY COODER的音樂
我都會毫不猶豫的掏錢…但是他們兩個合作的影片配樂只有2部..令一部是..END OF THE VIOLENCE....
RY COODER 好聽得作品太多了…他早期作品還缺幾張…但大致是收齊了..有空再到音樂區串一下門子...這張原聲帶我收了德版(也就是台版),美版..黑膠唱片一張…封面只有台版不一樣…其他都跟我前面PO的一樣
手癢來貼一張就好…

這張專輯超棒…有聽世界音樂的..非洲音樂的..決不能錯過這張專輯…

※演員特別介紹
觀看了wim wenders 這麻多部片子…有一個演員已經是接近他的班底演員…他就是飾演travis的妻子jane的Nastassja Kinski..從這片開始…我就特別注意她日後的一些演出..貼個美女圖

她的美讓身為女人的我…同樣驚艷…同樣是德國人她的第一部電影就是wim wenders的電影..wrong move(我無緣看到此片)
後來陸續的她又演了..巴黎.德州..far away so close…總共演了wim wenders 3部電影…她演出的作品算多…但是我想國內的觀眾注意到她的..不多
可惜我認為她沒有被好好的挖掘…以致她沒有在影壇上大紅大紫…是我覺得可惜的地方…但是她在本片的演出..我很喜歡..

終於又看到有人寫出深度文章了, 值得鼓勵.

[巴黎.德州]是我最喜歡的溫德斯電影(其實只看過幾部而已), 也曾被我列入1980年代的十大電影.

全片最感人的兩段: 首先是父子從陌生到互相瞭解, 最後兩人手牽手走在一起(需要一包面紙). 再來就是夫妻透過玻璃窗的對話(兩包面紙還嫌不夠).
