請問有什麼差別 :confused:

一個是從頭開始排整齊
一個是搬到比較少使用的區塊...

我猜的

defreg跟搬移至少用區塊這兩樣，前者對於SSD特性根本就不需要，反而減少壽命，
後者SSD上的控制晶片不是會自己做? 感覺脫褲子放屁...

有可能說不需要磁碟重組嗎 :laugh:

SSD也會有差吧

SSD的random access再怎麼快，sequence和512KB，4KB的成績仍然有很大的差距
重組還是會有用的, 只是沒有HDD那麼明顯


只是SSD會自動去wear leveling, 就不知道有沒有影響了

現在才想到
這種全靠電子訊號的東西為啥會有sequence這種東西
或者說，SSD的"Sequence"機制為何？
為何會跟Random有差...

照理來說SSD的random應該和sequence一樣快才對
我自己沒研究, 也不清楚是慢在哪裡, 還可以差到幾十倍 :shock:
