Redwood HD56X0 系列

在高階版 放這種高低不濟的顯示晶片...
實在越來越難懂 Asus ...
尤其是看到Eee Pad 跟 Eee Tablet 更吐血...

如果是有動態切換顯卡來省電的技術 也許還有搞頭 (Sorry X58 沒有)
假設有 放個Redwood 要省電也沒省到哪去...

在同一塊板上看到 AMD 和 intel 的晶片, 真神奇

這是要透過Hydra跟內建顯示晶片讓你的顯示效能直接提昇（有點類似Hybrid概念），跟省電本來就扯不上關係了。

Eee Pad跟Eee Tablet定義劃分得很開啊，有什麼問題嗎？

痾...插槽...插槽都縮水了
至少留根PCI以及四條16X的插槽吧
不然這張版玩1366還真的有點難以言諭的感覺

當server版還不錯啊~

所以你要一個買有Hydra主機板的人 還會去跟主板內建Redwood 交配?
Hydra 交配方案 問題還是很多...尤其N牌跟A牌 高低階 交配 問題更多...
搞內建 只是讓使用者失去彈性 或是 根本不會用到內建的顯示晶片...(更別提多加的成本)

Eee Pad & Eee Tablet...

Sorry, I held high expectations for those two product... but very very disappointed while it was announced several days ago...

Software matters... and HP-Palm WebOS tablet and acer android tablet looks more promising...

If asus can't realize what role software plays in such devices, then it will fail miserably in that area...

這要看你Hydra打算怎麼應用。
Hydra可以用在混搭或增加PCIe的Lane數等應用上，對於不會用到超過兩張卡的使用者而言，這不妨是另一種思考方式。至於有沒有消費者買單，則是另一回事。
反正人家都說那是概念產品了，有點子總比繼續無意義的蓋大樓來的好吧。

Asus has still yet to announce the content support partner for Eee Pad & Eee Tablet, I don't think there is too much to worry about if Asus can eventually find a strong partner to work with them on this. I do suppose Asus shouldn't be stupid enough to leave these two products as they are without finding a strong partner to provide the content, or perhaps at least a different usage model to go with them. I'll rather wait and see what Asus is up to before I make my own conclusion.
