想不到NEC也對18x DVD有興趣.

不過我看到一個令我注意的一點
RAM 16X 穩定記錄搭載....看來終於能見到速度能跟上+/- R且實用的RAM了 :yeah:
只是不知道會不會也加入LF :hungry:

koba used our news submit to tell us "Well, nice to know that there will soon be more options besides the Plextor for 18x burning. Specs are as said, 18x DVD-/+R and 16x DVD-RAM and accoding to Impress (Jp news site) 48x CD-R writing and reading. Also as stated, the press release is in Japanese only, but I am sure that an english version will follow soon."

Sorry Japanese only. NEC starts shipping samples of its new MC-10041 LSI for DVD writers beginning on 1st of June.

The new LSI will support 18x DVD-R/+R Writing as well as 16x DVD-RAM writing. The new LSI will most likely be used by Pioneer and SonyNecOptiarc company in their next Drives.

如果RAM真的可以穩定16X的話~
這樣就真的蠻吸引人了~
比DVD+-R 18X還吸引我的多了~

應該不少人都被蒙蔽了.....
16x DVD-RAM在實用上只有8x..... :D

燒錄速度再快也沒有用啊,容量才是重點,真希望藍光或HD趕快普及....

所以代表說市面上到時候也會有18X的片子面市囉？

應該沒那麼麻煩，16x片"更"上去就可以.....

之前大家卯起來改成4551A之後，才發現LF片子幾乎是買不到的那ㄧ家廠商 :jolin:

作出來能夠對應16X DVD-RAM的機子 :p

片子"應該"很容易買的到吧...就算有賣也不會很貴吧 :rolleyes: ...

不要像LF片跑遍光華幾乎買沒有，還一片100元(DVD-R) :jolin: ..

藍光燒錄機跟片子的價格是決定16X DVD-RAM能否存活的因素，

就跟32X CD-RW是一樣的...有規格但也不好買...
