前幾年我這裡的SFU發生作文大家抄抄抄

事情狀況是這樣的(如果有錯誤請大家糾正我哦)
47個學生寫的作文都很類似相同
結果老師和助理發現有問題
因為47個文章都很類似 有些還根本完全一模一樣的文章(100%的一樣)
結果發現大家幾乎都去 “某”個網站抄文章
然後發現那篇文章是前年某個學生的作品

Last year, 120 University of Alberta students were penalized for scholastic offences such as cheating or plagiarizing, despite the fact the university has an anti-cheating education program in place.

Approximately 150 students at the University of Toronto are currently under investigation for scholastic offenses Last year, the University of British Columbia reported 50 separate offenses and McGill caught 58 students.

STUDENT CHEATING (2:20)

Burnaby, B.C. 47 business students at Simon Fraser University in B.C. have been caught cheating. They were in a course to learn about statistics. For 25% of their grade, they were supposed to turn in an essay. The problem was, those 47 students turned in work that someone else had done the previous year.

Some of the students copied the original essay word for word, and others handed it in with a few changes. The University has software that will tell a professor if a paper is copied from something on the internet. But in this case it wasn't even necessary to use the program because the cheating was so obvious.

The students will all fail the course for cheating, and they could also face some other forms of discipline. They could be kicked out of University, and their school records could be permanently marked with a history of their cheating. That means when they go to get a job in the business world, their future boss would know about it.

44 students supended after project plagiarized

Forty four students have been suspended for up to two years for academic dishonesty in a business and economics class after they palgiarized a project last year. They were also ruled to have failed the course.
“The penalties are a strong message that Simon Fraser University has zero tolerance for cheating, and that individuals found guilty of academic dishonesty will be disciplined,” says Roger Blackman, acting dean of arts.
The penalties follow an in-depth investigation by the economics department and hearings by the university board on student discipline (UBSD).

The UBSD heard 46 cases in all, with one case still pending and another student exonerated.


最後結果~
44個學生被停學兩年
然後做弊的科目 FAIL

據統計這次一共有26位考生因為只填寫一個自願而落榜 其中還有一位的分數高達538.3分
而且殷姓學生並不是這次為一一個高分低取的考生
成功高中某邱姓考生也因校係代碼填錯而從原先可錄取台大數個理工科系 變成只分發到淡江資管
這表示殷姓學生並不是這次唯一高分低取或落榜的
為啥不見這些學生出來抗議要求改分發勒？
是他們不重視自己的權益嗎？
還是有人實在太白目明明是自己的錯還要推脫給別人..... :think:

今天是誰沒檢查過?

那個學生不知道要交東西上去時候要檢查過的?
1. 他再怎麼趕 沒檢查過是自己的錯
2. 他自己填錯了還要求大家給他一次機會?

今天大家不是三歲小孩子了
已經進入社會的大人了
社會有社會上的一套規矩
憑什麼要別人給他優惠?

同樣的東西你可以拿來責問其他人

今天你十八歲以下殺人
憑什麼要減刑
今天是誰有錯?
今天是誰在殺人?
今天是誰殺人之前不檢討?

今天的重點不是給不給優惠
只是討論他是否值得這麼慘的下場
我覺得沒必要而已

體制的問題本來就值得探討
不然就不需要法院了

權益要自己爭取的....

SFU那次發生的事情
那個文章佔那一個TERM的 1/4 的分數... :jolin:

程式...?
以前我在BCIT有幾個也就是因為抄程式被踢出去的
情況是同學A出去上廁所(頂尖學生)
結果有人把他的程式COPY出來修改後交上去
結果被抓
原因是程式中間跟這個頂尖學生寫的很多都相同
也因為是頂尖學生 大家都一定會要看他做出來的程式
大家一看心心裡頭就知道到底是怎麼一回事了


小弟我自己的程式也被COPY過...
說出來真的很不敢相信
因為那時候是剛開始上課...
寫的是很簡單的QBASIC..
更~ 竟然連這個都COPY啦...
WTF
那個同學後來被我告上去...
功課0分..
X的..還是我高中同學咧... :tu:

UT太鬆了
這樣是不行的
UBC前幾年也曾經爆發過學生集體做弊事情(考試 FINAL EXAM)
結果後來學校強烈的壓制媒體 才沒報導出來(我同學在那一班 後來跟我說的)

無心之過
學校多少都會放水的
有心之過
絕對嚴辦

小弟我跟幾個同學曾經犯下任何一個學校都不能接受的錯誤
以導致一個老師的名譽被譭謗
到頭來也沒什麼懲罰
因為是無心之過...

如果讓他一個重填，保證後面會一堆人要求重填 :o
每個人都有理由，要不就重考，不要一直說對他不公平，那對其他人也不公平嗎

殺人跟做弊雖然類似
可是您比較錯誤了
一個是一條人命
另外一個呢?

還有,如果他可以重填,那考不好的人可以說:{因為考試時間不多,我一時慌亂,要求重考 :tu: )
