就在剛剛三寶在橢圓形辦公室與南非總統會面期間，一位記者提問美國是否已接收來自卡達、可能作為空軍一號報導時，三寶見笑轉生氣了

「你在說什麼？」三寶打斷記者的提問說，「你知道嗎，你該離開這裡了。這跟卡達的飛機有什麼關係？」

三寶稱卡達將飛機交給美國空軍是「一件好事」，接著便開始辱罵該名記者，連NBC母公司董事長暨執行長布萊恩·羅伯茲也罵了進去

沒想到南非總統還對對三寶開玩笑說：「很抱歉我沒有飛機可以送你。」三寶回說如果南非提供飛機他會收下

白宮發言人週二表示，該架飛機的潛在轉交是「對我國的捐贈」，她說卡達王室「已提出將這架飛機捐贈給美國空軍，該捐贈將依所有法律和道德義務接受。」

不過CNN引述四位熟悉此事的消息人士報導指出，當初是三寶政府先主動和卡達接洽想要這架飛機，與「禮物」的說法相矛盾

三寶和南非總統見面時也羞辱南非總統播了一段影片拿了一堆資料說他對南非白人種族滅絕

南非總統否認還回擊說要是真的，他的代表團成員包括農業部長、兩位南非職業高球選手就不會在現場 :laugh:

一名聯邦法官週三表示，三寶政府「毫無疑問」違反了法院命令，試圖將被拘留者轉移到飽受戰爭蹂躪的南蘇丹

而未讓他們有實質性的機會對遣返至可能遭受酷刑的地點提出異議
