"We started testing Far Cry 3 under the ASUS ROG ARES II with the newest build of Catalyst 13.2 Beta 2 provided to us by AMD. Unfortunately, we quickly discovered that performance in CrossFire was extremely underperforming to previous driver’s performance we were use to. In fact, we were seeing a complete 24% performance drop with the new driver, plus stuttering and choppiness. After reporting our experiences to AMD we were informed that AMD recently as well discovered this and is already working on the fix, but the fix won't be ready for about a week." |
