溫哥華其實有非常多 ISP，ADSL 就超過 30 家。

這裡有一個網站讓你參考一下喔 ^^ 有時用小 ISP 並不會不好 ^^

這個站我找過，實際上和我當地的朋友討論的結果，溫哥華可以用的就只有二家而已，一家CABLE一家ADSL，基本上還是要看地區的。
不像小小的台灣，全國提供服務的ISP至少3家以上

全世界都要拉,網路大都用Bit(位元)去計算,

而1BYTE=8bit

通常是用大小來分,

比方說: 1MB=8Mb

因為都是bits not bytes

SHAW cut my network 2 twice when I was using their 20g service. (Avg. 70G/month..I shared with my family though)

I have switeched to SHAW I-EXTREME internet service (5M) last month, 60G limit/Month. It's fast and quite stable. avg. 600kbs

plus I think Telus has its limit too, it costs you $200CAD once you pass its limit..

No, I am using telus, I ride mule and download at least 100G per month(it says 10G down and 5 G up on website), I never get cut, and price is still approx $100 CDN

they only gave me warning when they caught me download Norton systemwork 2004 through emule... =.=

這是哪來的謠言
之前TELUS打來問我要不要轉用ADSL時我就問過了
雖然他們網頁上說有限制流量
不過基本上他們是不管的(畢竟ADSL的線路不會影響別人)
更別提說要罰款了

hey dude, you just scared me off :eek:
because i switched from shaw to telus in order to get rid off the silly 20g traffic cap

although telus representative told me that there is a traffic cap on their guide line, none of my friends got warning or cut, so i think that is fine

the only problem is that telus blocks some useful ports so basiclly you cannot host any website or mail server

用TELUS也是可以的
只是不是普通的PLAN
要選比較貴的 可以架站的

請問用 telus dsl 的網友在瀏覽一些比較大的大陸站時會不會很慢
我這可是慢的要死 不過我一兩個朋友用 cable 速度就蠻快的
我也試了 proxy 但是不見有好轉
