大義是說，他們會跟一些服務提供者收取費用，例如 Google.
他們保證能長期免費提供全功能的服務，但也額外提供一些收費加值，例如增加更多的空間。

其實他本身就有 sync 的程式，還支援多帳號。

所以他是有多方同步備份功能的，只用 ftp 就太小看他了。

舉例來說：你有 A, B 兩台電腦在不同地。
就可以利用他的 sync 程式，把你電腦的資料放一份在 G.ho.st, 假設你在 A 修改/增加/刪除某份文件，G.ho.st, B 上的資料就可以由 sync 程式同步更新；反之亦然。

他的 sync 程式在 All Programs -> G.ho.st Applications -> Sync (beta) -> Windows Sync, Mac Sync （有 Windows 和 Mac 版）

Google 這個 雲端 決策終究會害死自己，等於是自殺行為 !
想像當初開啟搜尋引擎那樣領導先端，錯了 ! 環境不會允許雲端成功的。
雲端技術的命根子限制住在網路傳輸，Hacker原本得拼命鑽研程式碼，現在不用了，一把鐵剪刀去剪斷網路線就行了。
