快艇解除Rivers總裁職務　希望他專心執教

在經過重新考量後，快艇老闆Steve Ballmer宣佈將解除總教練「河流」Doc Rivers球隊事務總裁的職位，而他的職務將由原本的副總裁Lawrence Frank擔任，雖然解除了Rivers的總裁職務，不過Ballmer仍表示對Rivers的信任，並且希望他能夠專注於總教練的事務，並相信他能帶隊拿下總冠軍。

「我已經擁有這支球隊3年了，在這段時間我更了解我應該做什麼，而我發現運作一支球隊跟作為球隊的教練是兩件差異非常大的事情。」Steve Ballmer在接受ESPN採訪時說，同時他也表示，他認為球隊需要建立良好的溝通，需要兩個不同的意見，這樣對球隊才是最好。

而Ballmer也沒有否定Doc Rivers對球隊的付出，但考量球隊的職務需要扮演的角色不同，因此決定讓他專心擔任總教練一職，他也認為Rivers是能帶領球隊拿下總冠軍的教練，希望他跟Lawrence Frank進行良好的溝通，幫助球隊拿下總冠軍。

而快艇也持續為總冠軍進行補強，雖然在今年夏天將已經無心待在球隊的Chris Paul送去火箭隊，交易回數名角色球員以增強球隊替補戰力，同時在球員自由市場換回Danilo Gallinari和簽下「歐陸最佳控衛」Milos Teodosic，讓球隊實力不退反進，而這些補強也讓快艇持續在NBA賽場上保持競爭力。

Well, I'm a smart guy and I want to keep this thing going and looking at Andre and Shaun (Livingston) and Steph (Curry) — they all should make the most money that they can make and get what they deserve. Because they were all underpaid and I knew at some point they'd want to get what they deserve. So I just took a step back and let the chips fall where they may. Then I took it in my hands. I wanted to keep the team together and I thought it was going to help the ownership bring all the guys back.

我很聰明，而且我想保持這個狀況。
Andre (Iguodala)、Shaun (Livingston)和Steph (Curry)都應該拿到自己能取得且值得的最多的錢。
因為他們全都拿了低價，我也知道他們某個時間會想要拿到值得的價錢。
