這次是SB850先出~接著4月出SB810~

忘記在那篇看到的, 他說SB710的效能>SB750, 至於SB850跟SB810呢? 就不知到了, 這年頭很少人測南橋效能了...

目前關心的是HDMI是否可以輸出次世代音效...有人知道嗎？

但是只有說Video，沒有Audio的部份...看起來不太樂觀

Directly tied to the UVD engine is obviously also sound. AMD's Radeon series 4000 cards have a feature that the competition does not have. It can pass lossless sound directly through the HDMI connector. This has been upgraded as it's now possible to have 7.1 channel lossless sound, meaning DTS-ES and all other formats have now become a reality. A very nice move indeed as that distance between the living room and your PC is getting smaller each year. Yours truly for example has a nice Onkyo receiver which I connect HDMI to. This receiver will take those 7.1 channel sounds with a lot of interest, process them, and then pass through the HDMI content itself to the HD television. All that over just one HDMI cable.

雖然說大家都沒有Native USB3.0的南橋, 但是由於SB850/810已經支援SATA 6Gb/s了, 所以NEC的PCIe-to-USB3 controller可以直接使用890GX的PCI-E 2.0 lane跟NEC的IC連接, 而intel的H55/H57只能用PCI-E 1.0 lane去跑, 頻寬只有890GX的一半.

當然現在還沒有USB device可以填滿PCI-E 1.0的頻寬啦.
