這是照著翻的, 但是語言就是這樣, 本來看起來沒問題的. 翻過去就會很怪..

我會這樣寫:

To whom it may concern:
Because the TV cables were damaged, only 5 channels will be available on your TV. We're working to recover the signal and will keep you updated. Apologies for inconveniences caused. Thank you.

PS: We forgot to mention that 5 channels are still watchable, but standard channel are usually as boring as hell, just get your lazy ass outside for a few hours, geez.
