稍做整理一下，基本上我看mpeg4影片是裝這幾個軟體
當然，每個人喜好不同，也有人喜歡裝codes pack，例如
Nimo(最近更新速度挺慢的)、ATB(這個是PCDVD網友做的)
不敢說裝這幾個軟體可以通吃，但我目前看影片還沒碰過什麼大問題。

XviD is a continuation of Project Mayo and aims to develope a high quality open-source MPEG-4 codec. As you may already know, XviD comes from the same open-source project that was the basis for DivX 4.x/5.x, but instead of going all commercial, XviD remains open-source. The quality of the codec is extremely good, and encoding speed is very fast as well, so it is at least worth a try.

ffdshow is a DirectShow decoding filter for decompressing DIVX movies. It uses libavcodec from ffmpeg project for video decompression, postprocessing code from mplayer to enhance visual quality of low bitrate movies, and is based on original DirectShow filter from XviD, which is GPL'ed educational implementation of MPEG4 encoder.



Ogg Vorbis Directshow Filter

The ogg vorbis package consist of four filters

•Ogg Splitter (splits Ogg files into the different Ogg streams)
•Ogg Multiplexer (does the mupltiplexing of several Ogg streams into a file)
•Vorbis Encoder (encodes PCM audio to vorbis. CBR and VBR modes)
•Vorbis Decoder (decodes vorbis audio to PCM or IEEE float)



VobSub
