Use MegaCLI to flash the SAS controllers. MegaCLI can be downloaded from the support and download
section of www.lsi.com.

Command syntax: MegaCli -adpfwflash -f mr1078fw.rom -a0

可以拿來更新Dell 6i嗎?

可以 但是CTRL+R不能用..
這跟NVRAM設定有關..

支援SATA3
那Host Bus的頻寬有增加嗎
還是只是增加支持SATA3硬碟辨識
如果是
那DELL 6/i升不升就很尷尬了 :jolin:
因為刷了等於廢掉熱鍵進入CLI
會有很多不便...... orz

先等看看DELL會不會佛心放個新BIOS也支持SATA3吧....

所以一般 LSI 原廠的 RAID卡 都沒有 CTRL-R 進 CLI 的功能嗎？
這樣子如果要灌 OS 到 VD 中的話，該怎麼辦？

原廠卡的設定可不一樣..
有WebBIOS和Pre-boo CLI機能(按鍵設定是不同的)..
有最完善的控制機能..

只是相容6Gb/s規格...
因為之前這個有bug..
連接SATA 3.0裝置..
會被強制降速到1.5Gb/s..
而不是降速成3Gb/s..
這個修正可能是收到諸多抱怨才提供的....

所以 Dell OEM 卡刷了 LSI F/W
不但原本的 CTRL+R 廢了，
而 LSI 原廠卡的 WebBIOS 和 Pre-boo CLI 也出不來嘍？

用編輯器把f/w直接打開比對就可以得知了...
DELL刷LSI的f/w當然是包含WebBIOS的組件...
DELL的CTRL+R的BIOS組件是DELL自己做的..

今天試過了
刷給了6/i
熱鍵就廢了
目前記得只有早期一個韌體刷了沒事
其他一刷.....CLI馬上葛屁 orz

其實刷了也沒關係
只是沒辦法再BIOS開機過程叫出CLI
以前我甚至還用8888elp代替6/i建立陣列
然後安裝完系統之後在換回6/i
(想以前還真有閒玩這一種耗時間的拆拆拔拔換換樂.....)
我看我還是只刷給8888elp就好......6/i就放牛吃草了
